Hi, I’m Clara, a born and bred Newfoundlander. Having lived in Newfoundland and Labrador for most of my life, I took our way of life for granted. That is, until I moved away for work and quickly realized how much I missed the crisp saltiness of the Newfoundland breeze, our manner of speech, our traditions and, especially, our food. There is nothing more refreshing than spending time in the great Newfoundland outdoors, which is where I’d like to be pretty much most of the time.
Although I have traveled extensively, I find exploring my own backyard incredibly enjoyable as there is so much to see and do here. A new hiking trail, a new recipe, a new experience or a bit of storytelling -I want to share with you just how wonderful my province, and home, is. Join me on my adventures!
